It’s pau hana time, gang! We had an amazing run over the last 20 years — we made 6 records and got to see the world doing it! We seriously couldn’t have asked for more... But, as they say, all good things must come to an end and it did at The Republik on January 16, 2016!
Go Jimmy Go shows are always a big party and this final one was the most epic one of them all!!! We pulled out all the stops at the Go Jimmy Go “A Hui Hou”: 20th Anniversary & Farewell Show where we played one giant set starting with our 1st album “Slow Time” and ending with our 5th, “Go Jimmy Go”. It was a 2 ½ hour concert filled with tons of special guests and Go Jimmy Go alumni from the past 20 years!
The footage from that concert was preserved and added to interviews from band members, both past and present, and all the people we’ve met along the way to create the definitive documentary about the “Island Sound Known the World Around!” Make plans to be there at the Doris Duke Theater on Thursday -- September 19, 2019 for the Hawai’i premiere of Go Jimmy Go “A Hui Hou”: “20 Years of an Island Sound Known the Woxrld Around”! Join the band to relive and celebrate all those "good times, bad times, and all those in-between times"... the world premiere is set for Aloha Friday, October 4th, 2 weeks later. See you at the big show… a hui hou!
